There is Power in Words!

Have you ever heard the phrase you are what you eat? Well that same phrase applies to the words that we feed ourselves rather there subconsciously thoughts or spoken words. Be mindful of the things that you tell yourself, because whether you believe it or not they hold Power!


Recently I started my weight-loss Journey and although I had some success on my own; I decided it was time to turn it up a notch. So after much hesitation and constant excuses this week I decided to join a gym alongside a personal trainer! Although, I was excited about taking the next step in my weight-loss Journey, honestly I was a bit uneasy; because I knew this would push me out of my comfort zone, but also expose my vulnerabilities in respects to the insecurities that I have with my body. (I.E LETTING HIM KNOW ABOUT MY PROBLEM AREAS).


A few days leading up to the first class my negative thoughts went it to Overdrive! I subconsciously attached every negative thought imaginable to the class and how I would preform. I thought about how painful and physically enduring the class would be. How intimidating the class would be and also how embarrassed I would feel if I couldn’t keep up!


Ultimately on the day of the class I ended up psyching myself out! Since I was worried about the class and how I would preform, I done exactly what I said I would do. I sucked big time😂😂. The Law of Attraction is Real Guys! I know it’s not a direct correlation, but on the day of the class it’s as if how I was feeling had manifested into reality it was a really crappy day; it was raining relentlessly so to say I was irritated would be an understatement! After I had gotten off work and picked my daughter up from summer camp we headed to the gym class. No better way to exercise than to release your frustrations out over a long days work. Right! When I got to class I literally couldn’t preform! Honestly my mind couldn’t process simple maneuvers. I was physically and mentally unprepared, but because I was consumed in negative thoughts it made it appear ten times worse.

After a while of self loothing and feeling disappointed: I picked myself up and gave myself credit for the good that I did do! My trainer informed me that the beginning is always hard and that I shouldn’t be so hard on myself. After class was over my daughter and I went home to get settled in for the night and to prepare for the next day. When I got home I keep replaying in my head a few of the exercises that I couldn’t seem to grasp. I decided to try them out again without all of the added pressure and Guess what guys? I was able to master them with ease, but because I was in my head the entire time I was at the gym I didn’t execute the moves.


It is a normal human reaction to be nervous about the “unknown” however don’t allow your mind to control or possess you; by turning itself and ultimately you into an obsessive “trance- like” state of worry! It does you no good! Remember if you constantly send out negative energy into the universe you will be sure to receive it back. If you think negatively you will inadvertently draw back those same “charges” in physical form; because the “Law of Attraction” gives us the ability to manifest our thoughts into actions; so basically if I’m thinking negatively about myself or a particularly situation It’s only certain that I will have a bad experience or reaction to such things. If you send out Positive energy into the universe the “Law of Attraction” says you will be certain or more likely to draw to you Positive Outcomes! Since we have the abilities to manifest our thoughts into reality why not make our thoughts positive! IF I SPEAK POSITIVE I WILL BE POSITIVE! IF I SPEAK POSITIVE I WILL DO POSITIVE! GOING FORWARD I WANT YOU TO SPEAK LIFE OVER YOUSELF! ALWAYS SEND POSITIVE AFFIRMATIVE MESSAGES INTO THE ATMOSPHERE AND KEEP A POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON YOUR ABILITIES; DON’T DOUBT YOURSELF! YOU GOT THIS BECAUSE THE POWER RESIDES INSIDE OF YOU! REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING THAT YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO; AND ALTHOUGH YOU MAY FACE CHALLENGES UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN AND YOU WILL OVERCOME THOSE! “IN CLOSING REMEBER TO CHOOSE YOUR WORDS WISELY BECAUSE THEY TOO HAVE POWER!✌&❤”
